What Got Shipped Today - 29/9/26 - Registers filter by revision date, clients join from Project Settings, and variation documents show the numbers you priced

Published: 29 September 2026 Tuesday, and the flight deck ran hot. Fifteen changes cleared the launch pad today, from a new way to slice the Document Register to a long list of fixes that make the platform feel sharper to fly. Features Filter the Document Register by revision date "When the consultant tells me 'everything after the October reissue', I want to see exactly those drawings, not scroll a register of four hundred sheets." Before: The Document Register filtered by discipline, status, set, approval and type, but not by date. Finding the drawings revised before or after a given day meant sorting by Rev Date and scanning by eye. After: Every Document Register filter bar now has a Rev Date filter. Choose On or before, On or after, or Between, or use the quick picks for the last 7, 30 or 90 days. The button shows the range you picked, Clear resets it, and a Between range entered the wrong way round still works. The same filter is in the register picker when you attach documents from the CDE to a notice. Impact: "Show me what changed since the last issue" becomes a two-click question instead of a manual hunt. Screenshot: the Rev Date filter set to Between 22 Oct and 15 Dec 2020. 1. The Rev Date button and its popover, with conditions, date fields and the 7, 30 and 90 day quick picks. Known limitations: Documents with no Rev Date are hidden while the filter is on. Invite client contacts to the workspace straight from Project Settings "When the client's project manager needs to see the job, I want to invite them from the contact I already have, not rebuild them somewhere else." Before: In Project Settings, Team, External Stakeholders had an actions column to invite people into the workspace, but Client Contacts did not. Getting a client into the platform meant going around the long way. After: Client Contacts now carry the same actions as External Stakeholders: Invite to Workspace, then Add to Project, then Ready. Invites from the client section only offer client portal roles, so a client contact can never be handed an internal role by mistake. Contacts with no email address, and contacts with an invite already pending, are handled with a clear message instead of an error. Impact: Bringing a client onto the job takes a click from the contact you already hold, and the role they get is always a client one. Known limitations: Your workspace needs at least one client portal role (Admin, Security, Roles, portal type: client). If there is none, the invite shows you where to create one. Improvements Variation documents now show markup and GST the way you priced them "I price variations on markup, and my subbies' variations need to show the GST. The document should say what I actually entered." Before: The Head Contract Variation document's full breakdown showed Total Cost and Total Margin, with margin as a share of sell, so builders who price by markup saw a percentage that did not match what they entered. The Subcontract Variation document printed only GST exclusive values. After: The Head Contract Variation full breakdown now prints a Total Markup row under Total Margin, with the markup percentage. The Subcontract Variation document now prints GST under the base value and a Total (inc GST) line. Impact: The variation your client and your subcontractors receive matches the way you priced it, with no side calculations to explain. Screenshot: the Head Contract Variation totals. 1. The new Total Markup row, shown with its percentage alongside Total Margin. Screenshot: the Subcontract Variation items table. 1. GST and the Total (inc GST) line, now printed under the base value. Subcontractor payment schedule PDFs carry their attachments and T&Cs "When I issue a payment schedule, the documents and terms I attached should go with it, not just be listed on the last page." Before: The Subcontractor Payment Schedule PDF listed its attached documents and T&Cs on the last page but did not include them. After: Attachments and T&Cs are now bound into the payment schedule PDF itself. Word attachments are converted to PDF automatically so they merge into the same file. Impact: The subcontractor receives one complete document, and there is nothing left to send separately. RFI comment emails now carry the full story "When someone comments on an RFI, the email should tell me which project, which RFI and who said it, without logging in to find out." Before: The email sent when a comment was added to an RFI had little context, so recipients had to open the platform to work out what it was about. After: RFI comment emails now show the project name, the sender's company and name, the RFI name and context, and the comment history. Impact: Recipients can read and act on a comment straight from their inbox. Notice emails are easier to trust, and their download links last 30 days "Our consultants kept deleting the reply address as spam, and the attachment links had expired by the time they got to them." Before: Notice emails replied through an unnamed address with no explanation, which recipients often treated as suspicious. Attachment download links in RFI and notice emails expired after 7 days. After: The reply address now carries a clear display name, and the email explains that replying adds the response to the notice. Attachment download links now last 30 days. Impact: More replies land back on the notice where they belong, and attachments are still there when people get to them. Fixes The Weekly Work Plan Print button works The Print button on the Weekly Work Plan did nothing. It now opens your browser's print or Save as PDF dialog with a clean, print-ready plan: the week and grouping in a header, the summary cards, every Ready Task and all seven day columns, with the menus and toolbars left off. Screenshot: the Weekly Work Plan as it prints. 1. The print header with the week and grouping. 2. Every Ready Task, including multi-day tasks, makes it onto the page. Construction Program dates read day first Start and End dates in the Construction Program grid, the Lookahead Planning calendar and the Program Dashboard could show in US order (month first) depending on your browser settings. They now always read day first (for example 13/01/2025), and the columns are wide enough that dates no longer cut off. Screenshot: the Construction Program grid. 1. Start and End columns now read day first, in full. Subcontractor Tendering shows NZD for New Zealand builders Tender prices showed in AUD for New Zealand builders whenever a project had no Location set. The display currency now follows your Company Settings country, and a project's own Location still takes priority when it is set. Weather pulls through without opening the Delivery Dashboard first A project's weather only started pulling once someone opened the weather panel on the Delivery Dashboard. Every project with a location is now included in the nightly weather refresh automatically. Notice PDFs only print a contract line on contract notices Notice PDFs printed an "issued under" contract line on every notice, including RFIs raised outside a contract, and could name the wrong standard for Australian projects. The line now only appears on contract notices and names the correct contract standard. Team members from other companies in your workspace can raise notices Internal users whose company was not the workspace owner saw every notice type greyed out. They now see and can raise the notice types their role allows. Send Reminder in Bid Package Management works Sending a reminder to an invited subcontractor failed with "Failed to update". Reminders now send to the invitee you picked. Group heading checkboxes are back on the New Progress Claim pop-up When creating a progress claim for the first time, the group heading checkboxes were missing from the claim pop-up, so you could not select a whole group at once. They now show as expected. Document Template names are readable on every card In Document Templates, template names on cards could be squashed to nothing by the Assigned and Nominated badges, and long names were cut to a few characters. Names now sit on their own row and wrap in full, and the badges no longer appear twice. Screenshot: Document Templates in card view. 1. A long template name now wraps onto two lines instead of being cut off. Got feedback on any of today's updates? Tell us through the feedback portal in the platform.
