NoD and EoT Registers Are Back, With the Dollar Totals Built In

Notices of Delay and Extensions of Time now have their own registers again, under Delivery > Coordination, right where they used to live. Each one leads with the number that matters: total liquidated damages exposure across every NoD, and total additional claimable value across every EoT, both pulled straight from the Head Contract instead of typed in by hand. Before / After Before. NoDs and EoTs lived inside one blended Notices list. Seeing how much delay exposure or claimable value a project had built up meant opening each notice one at a time. On a project with 72 NoDs on file, that's a lot of clicking to piece together a picture that used to be one glance. After. Standalone NoD and EoT registers sit back at their old menu spots. Each is a locked, single-type view of the same Notices data, so the register and the master list can never disagree. The NoD register shows delay exposure in dollars per notice and as a project total, LD rate and cap included. The EoT register shows additional claimable value, split betxeen pending and granted, and moves days into the Revised Practical Completion date the moment an EoT is granted. Why it matters Delay and time claims are commercial exposure, not just paperwork. A construction manager needs to know, at a glance, what a project's liquidated damages position looks like and what's still claimable, without adding up 72 individual notices by hand. Because the numbers come from the Head Contract's LD rate and cap rather than a manual field, the totals are always right, and they're the same whether you're looking at the register or the underlying notice. How it works, step by step Set the LD rate and cap once. The delay damages rate (e.g. $2,500/day) and any cap live on the Head Contract. Every NoD reads its exposure from there, nobody types a dollar figure into a notice. Raise the Notice of Delay. A new numeric "Estimated delay" field takes a day count (or TBD if it's not known yet), and the notice window auto-computes from the Head Contract. Check the standalone NoD register. It shows per-row delay figures, LD rate and cap badges, and the project total, e.g. $25,000 in delay exposure across the notices on file, with any TBD entries surfaced separately. Check the standalone EoT register. It shows additional claimable value, e.g. $35,000,split between pending and granted. The moment an EoT is granted, its days move into the Revised Practical Completion date and the at-risk column clears.
