Subcontractor Booking Acceptance: Confirm Programme Dates from the Portal

Subcontractors can now accept or reject their programme bookings directly in the portal, and builders get a live view of who's confirmed, so site teams stop chasing every trade by phone. Before On a large programme, a site team might manage hundreds, sometimes thousands, of task bookings. Confirming that every contractor has seen and committed to their dates has meant manual phone calls and emails, week after week. It's tedious, easy to miss, and a missed confirmation quietly turns into a delay, an NOD or an EOT. After A complete acceptance loop now runs between the builder's Construction Programme and the subcontractor portal. Assign a subcontractor, the company is notified Builders assign a subcontractor to a task from the scheduling detail. Everyone at the assigned company is notified, in-app and by email, that they've been booked, flagged Action Required. Accept or reject, right from the notification Clicking the notification opens a booking pop-up with the task details. The subcontractor can accept, committing to the programme dates, or reject with a reason. The first response wins, and the builder sees it immediately. (Screenshot for this step is being recaptured, the original export was corrupted.) See the full programme (view-only), and update their own accepted work Portal users can now see the full Construction Programme for context, not just their Lookahead and Weekly Work Plan. The programme is read-only, except for the tasks they've accepted, where the subcontractor can update progress directly. Everything else stays read-only. Lookahead and Weekly Work Plan, scoped to their company The subcontractor's planning views now show only their own company's tasks, no more scrolling past everyone else's work. Booking status on the builder's dashboard The Construction Programme dashboard's Project Overview now shows Accepted, Pending and Rejected booking counts at a glance, so the builder always knows where things stand. Drill through to exactly the tasks that need attention Click a status tile to jump straight into the programme filtered to those tasks, for example everything still pending, so the CA follows up only the ones that matter. Why it matters Less chasing: CAs no longer phone every contractor to confirm, they follow up only the pending and rejected ones. Accountability: a clear, auditable record that a trade has seen and committed to their dates. Fewer surprises: catching a rejection early means fewer downstream delays, NODs and EOTs. And it's a foundation to build on, this unlocks automated booking reminders and progress-driven claim reconciliation. What's next Automated booking reminders ahead of each task's start (14 / 7 / 3 days out). Accept or reject straight from the email, without opening the portal.
