Raise a Purchase Order from Site
The person who knows a purchase needs to happen is usually on site, the site manager / supervisor standing in front of the supplier, the foreman who just realised they're short on tiles. Now they can raise the PO from the field. Fill in the Submit PO form on DS Site, project, supplier, cost code, amount, a short description, hit submit, and within seconds a draft purchase order appears in the Deep Space web app PO Register for that project, ready for approval. No re-keying. No leaving the field. Before / After Before. The need started in the field and the paperwork lived somewhere else. Raising a PO meant stopping, getting back to the office system, and re-keying the project, supplier, cost code and amount into the Deep Space web app by hand. That gap is where POs got delayed, forgotten, or double handled. After. The supervisor fills in Submit PO on DS Site and submits. Seconds later a draft purchase order appears in the Deep Space web app PO Register for the right project, with supplier, cost code and amount already attached, sitting in your normal approval flow. What used to be a stop-everything, back-to-the-office task is now a 30-second form on site. What it looks like The intelligence behind it Why it matters What's next Submit PO is the first "from the field" action. The same foundation lets us turn more site forms into the right action in the Deep Space web app, safely and automatically. More follow.
