📝 Desktop site forms that are easier to review, edit, and complete
Most site forms in Deep Space are completed on site using the DS Site App. That remains the primary and preferred experience for daily capture. What we’ve focused on here is the desktop follow-up workflow. This is the moment when entries are reviewed, expanded, clarified, or finalised later in the day by site managers, PMs, or commercial teams working from a laptop. More space where desktop work actually happens On desktop, site forms now open in user-adjustable modals, giving you control over how much space you need. Expand the form when reviewing detail, attachments, or longer entries, and resize it back when you are done, all without interrupting your workflow. This applies across key site and delivery workflows, including: Site Diaries Meeting Minutes Other site-related forms accessed on desktop The mobile Site App experience remains unchanged and optimised for fast, on-site entry. This update is specifically about improving how those same records are handled once they move back to the office. Built for real-world handover between site and office In reality, many teams: Capture the essentials on site Revisit entries later on desktop Add detail, attachments, or clarifications once there’s time to do it properly The updated desktop form experience supports this handover. You can see more of the form at once, keep context while reviewing, and make updates without constantly jumping around the screen. A foundation for broader UI improvements This is a foundational desktop UI improvement, and the same modal and drawer behaviour will continue to roll out across other areas of the platform. As always, feedback is welcome. These changes are driven by how teams actually use Deep Space day to day, and we’ll keep refining them as workflows evolve. The Deep Space Product Team
