✍️ E-sign is now live. Get contracts signed without leaving Deep Space
Getting documents signed should be the easiest part of the job. In reality, it rarely is. Subcontract agreements get emailed back and forth. PDFs are printed, signed, scanned, renamed, and re-uploaded. Someone forgets which version is the latest. Someone else follows up because they are not sure if it was ever signed. The signed copy ends up in an inbox or a shared folder instead of sitting against the actual contract record. This update removes that friction. What’s changed We’ve introduced native e-signing inside Deep Space, so you can prepare, send, track, and store signed documents without jumping between tools. You can now: Upload a PDF that needs signing Define who needs to sign it Place signature fields directly on the document Send a secure signing link Track status from sent, to in progress, to completed Access the final signed PDF from one place All without exporting files or relying on external e-sign tools. How this fits into real workflows Think about issuing a subcontract agreement. Instead of: Exporting a PDF Uploading it to a third-party e-sign tool Copying email addresses Chasing signatures manually Downloading the signed copy Re-uploading it back into your system You can now do all of that directly in Deep Space. Create a signing request, drop the signature box exactly where it belongs, send the link, and let the signer complete it from any device. You can see at a glance whether it is pending, in progress, or signed. Once completed, the signed document is stored and accessible, with a clear audit trail. A dedicated place to manage signing We’ve added a new E-sign management page where admins can: Create and manage signing requests View all signing tasks and their status Re-send signing links if needed Open signed PDFs and view timelines There’s also a public signing page for recipients. They do not need a Deep Space login. They simply open the link, review the document, and sign. Why this matters This update is about more than convenience. It reduces delays caused by manual follow-ups. It lowers the risk of unsigned or misplaced agreements. It keeps signed documents tied to the system of record instead of scattered across inboxes and folders. Most importantly, it saves time and mental energy so teams can focus on running the job, not chasing paperwork. This is the first step This is an initial release of e-signing in Deep Space. From here, you’ll see it progressively integrated into more workflows and records where signed documents are a natural part of the process. As always, feedback is welcome. We’re building this alongside real project teams, and your input helps shape what comes next. The Deep Space Product Team
