💼 Opportunity Tracker: A Clearer Start to Every Project

We’ve laid the foundations for a new Opportunity Tracker in Deep Space - built for how construction businesses actually track upcoming work before it becomes a live project. This is the start of a cleaner, more intentional way to track opportunities from first lead through to delivery. What this introduces • A dedicated Opportunity concept (separate from delivery) • Track early-stage pipeline data like: • probability • estimated value • expected award dates • priority • notes, contacts, and competitors • A clear link between an opportunity and its underlying project • A clean, predictable path from Opportunity → Tender → Project At this stage, opportunities are managed in a table view. A visual pipeline view (below) is already designed and coming shortly - this update focuses on getting the data model and workflow right first. Why this matters An opportunity is the beginning of a project. By capturing the right information early, that context flows forward — into tendering, and eventually into delivery — without re-entry, duplication, or loss of history. For directors, owners, and BD leads, this means: • clearer forward visibility • better forecasting confidence • fewer handover gaps between sales, preconstruction, and delivery This is foundational work.
