⚙️ Project Settings - one place to manage your project
We’ve shipped a new Project Settings experience in Deep Space. This is now the single place to view and manage how your project is set up - without guessing which screen owns what. What’s in here now Project Settings is broken into clear sections, each with a specific job: General • Core project details like name, code, description, and stage • High-level classification info (delivery method, sector, owner type, etc.) • A stable reference point for the project’s identity Locations • Structured project address • Region, timezone, and coordinates • Interactive map so everyone’s literally on the same page This feeds things like weather, diaries, and location-based reporting. Dates & Milestones • Planned vs actual start and finish dates • Forecast dates and warranty periods • Automatic duration summaries so timelines are easy to sanity-check Team • Clear internal project roles (PM, Site Manager, Commercial, HSEQ, etc.) • Simple assignment from your workforce • A clean place to see who’s responsible for what on the job Some sections are editable here. Some are intentionally read-only (like Opportunity and Tender info) with clear links to jump to the right place. No duplicate fields. No “where do I change this?” moments. Why this matters For mid-sized commercial builders, project setup needs to feel boring and reliable. Project Settings is meant to be: • the place you go when setting a job up • the place you trust when checking details • and the place that doesn’t break downstream workflows This gives Project Settings a proper foundation - and we’ll keep building on it.
