☀️ Now Live: Weather Data, Built Into Deep Space

Weather affects productivity, safety, sequencing, and claims — so we’ve started wiring it directly into Deep Space. This is the first step in making weather automatic, reliable, and usable, instead of something you chase after the fact. What’s new 📓 Site Diaries (Automatic + Manual) • Every site diary is now automatically paired with the actual weather conditions for that day • Temperature, wind, humidity, and rainfall are captured and locked to the entry • You can still add manual observations (e.g. fog, extreme heat, poor visibility) where context matters This gives you a clean historical weather record, tied to real site activity — no guesswork later. 📊 Delivery Dashboard • Live weather now appears directly in the Delivery Dashboard • Click through to see current conditions plus a 7-day forecast • Built for planning the week ahead, not reacting after the fact How it works • Weather is sourced based on the project’s latitude and longitude • Location data lives in Project Settings • Weather syncs automatically every day at 4:00am (AEST) Why this matters (on real jobs) • Better context for delays, productivity dips, and site conditions • Stronger records for claims, EOTs, and audits • Safer planning around heat, wind, and adverse conditions • One less thing for Site Managers to manually track This is just the beginning. You’ll start seeing weather surface in more places across Deep Space as we go. Accurate data. Less admin. Better decisions.
